PRESS COVERAGE: MMSEZ Kinetic Resources - Ferrochrome Smelter Project
Living Limpopo, represented by All Rise Attorneys for Climate and Environmental Justice, is opposing the proposed Ferrochrome Smelter in the controversial Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone, and has exposed the fatal flaws in the Environment Impact Assessment and the serious procedural irregularities being perpetrated by the appointed Environmental Assesment Practitioner, Gudani Consulting, and the applicant, Kinetic Resources Development, in their attempt to ram through South Africa’s environmental protection regulations. We will continue to monitor press coverage on the issue.
